On the occasion of the event "Luca Attanasio's Legacy: The Role of Humanitarian Action In Africa" on May 3 at 5:30 pm - promoted and organized in collaboration with the Bocconi Students for Diplomacy and International Cooperation Association - we will reopen the campaign.
Your donations will allow deserving students to continue their studies, honoring Luca's values and memory. The scholarships will cover primary expenses, such as meal allowance, books, laptop etc..

The death of the Italian Ambassador to the Democratic Republic of the Congo, Luca Attanasio – along with his security detail and driver – deeply moved Italy and in particular our Alumni Community.
Luca was an Alumnus who knew how to combine intellectual insight, soundness of ideas and great human depth; the impact of his work is tangible in all the humanitarian projects he took part in, where he stood out for his spirit and dedication to people in need. A civil servant of rare stature, as demonstrated by the many messages of those who had the privilege of knowing him.
His Alma Mater is proud of him and the moral legacy he has left. This is why the University wishes to give other young people the chance to continue in his footsteps, so that they can drive forward his values, his expertise and his dreams of a more equitable humanity.
Bocconi believes in this: this is why it has chosen to set up the "Scholarship in memory of Luca Attanasio". With your support and that of the entire Community, together we can build a future for new students, a choice that Luca would certainly be happy with.
