A legacy gift is a way of planning your support to Università Bocconi in the long term: once you have remembered those closest to you, there are several ways to support Bocconi by including a gift in your Will. Including a gift of any size is easy to do, and will give you the opportunity to help shape the future of the University.
How can I draft my Will?
If your country of residence is not Italy, we suggest you contact a notary/solicitor for advice on how to draft your will in conformity with the legal system of the country you live in.

Which projects can I support?
If you are planning to leave a legacy for a specific project of the University – a named study room or scholarship, for example - we would be delighted to discuss this with you so that we can fully understand your wishes.
Imagine the impact that your planned gift from 12.000 eur will have on a BA student, who will receive financial support for the duration of his/her studies thanks to your generosity.
I have already written my Will. Do I need to draw up a new one to include a gift to Bocconi?
No, you can generally amend your Will to include a gift to Bocconi by preparing a document called a Codicil. We recommend that you consult a notary/solicitor to ensure that the Codicil is valid and your wishes will take effect. It is a very easy thing for you to do, but it will go a long way.
How will Bocconi know I have left a legacy gift?
Remember that notaries/solicitors won’t pass any information about their clients' Legacy pledges to the intended beneficiaries. If you have left us a gift in your Will, please do let us know by contacting us: we want to be able to thank you for the gift you have planned. All the information you decide to share with us will be confidential.
Any gift, large or small, can make a huge difference.
Any legacy gift made to institutions focussing on education and public utility, such as Bocconi, is fully exempted from taxation: for us, this is particularly effective and valuable.
